“LIBERATE MINNESOTA!”, “LIBERATE MICHIGAN!”, “LIBERATE VIRGINIA!”.
These slogans that were heard in the United States this past Friday did not come from a socialist leader or from the American Communist Party, even nor from anarchist workers groups in that country.
These provocative slogans came out from the mouth of Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, a country that irresponsibly many classify as the example of democracy.
But the tragedy of the event does not focus solely on the content of the message, the worst is related to the context that these slogans aired.
Trump’s objective was to encourage young people who were demonstrating in those cities against social isolation measures taken by local authorities to contain the corona virus against the position of the country’s president. But it was not a simple demonstration with banners and proclamations as is the normal situation. An important sector of the participants of the event, some of them belonging to the movement of white supremacy, carried automatic weapons of war and military accessories.
This is the typical wink that Trump transmits to certain groups of his extremist bases that, as the Jewish community has already felt, take advantage of opportunities to blame the Jewish community, and, some of them on certain occasions opened fire on Jewish targets with the consequent fatalities.
Weapons that are exposed in the first act, end up killing at the end of the show.
You can’t trust a person like Donald Trump. The bulky donations of Jewish tycoons to Trump’s proselytizing campaigns aimed at supporting Israel not only do not serve as a shield, but, conversely, further incite these extremist groups.
No one can be surprised if in the near future we will be once again witness these weapons firing on Jewish targets.
I hope I’m wrong
